American Hi-Fi is pleased to introduce a new home theater projector that for the first time provides advanced D-ILA technology by JVC PRO at an entry-level price.
For several years now the JVC DLA series has been the projector of choice at American Hi-Fi.
Blacker blacks, higher contrast and remarkable colour and clarity have been the characteristics of the images you have seen in our home theater demo room, and those who have purchased these fine projectors for their home theaters absolutely love them. However, until now the premium price points of the JVC PRO DLA series has put them out of reach of those with more modest budgets.
This has now changed!
This new projector, the DLA-HD250PRO by JVC Professional, delivers 25,000:1 native contrast ratio and 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness. Note that the contrast ratio specification is not artificially inflated by the use of an auto iris as is common practice with many other brands.
With the JVC DLA model, you get black blacks AND white whites all at the same time.
The DLA-HD250PRO features three 0.7-inch 1920x1080 D-ILA devices for a naturally rich, flicker-free picture with true blacks and extraordinary luminance detail. Combined with JVC's wire-grid optical engine, the new projector provides outstanding native contrast -- without a dynamic iris to artificially inflate contrast specifications. Plus, an advanced HQV Reon-VX video processor by Silicon Optix ensures excellent image reproduction with precision I/P conversion and scaling.
Other features include a high-performance 2x motorized zoom lens with auto dust cover, as well as on-screen, customizable gamma control and ultra-quiet (19dB) operation. While ideal for use in a dedicated home theater, the DLA-HD250PRO is also suitable for brighter environments, such as great rooms or bar and restaurant installations, thanks to its 1,000 lumens of brightness.
In short, the DLA-HD250PRO has all the basic qualities that are needed for incredible image quality, but this quality now comes are a much lower price.
While previous DLA models ranged from $ 6,000 - $ 10,000, the new DLA-HD250PRO will be just one half of the low end of that price range!

The DLA-HD250Pro is now on display in the American Hi-Fi home theater demo room and we sell it for $2,995.
It carries a two-year warranty.
